Meetings
Scheduled video calls with calendar invites and guest links.
Meetings are calls with a time, an attendee list, and an invite. Where huddles are ambient, meetings are for the calls that involve calendars and people outside your organisation.
Schedule a meeting
From the Meetings page (or N while you are there), set a title and time and add attendees: organisation members, and external guests by email. The organiser can cancel a meeting later, which notifies everyone.
Calendar invites
Every attendee receives a standard .ics calendar invite by email, so the meeting lands in Google Calendar, Outlook, or anything else that speaks the format. Cancellations send a proper cancellation, not a "please ignore" follow-up.
Guest access
Each meeting has a join link you can share:
https://alpha.plain.jxd.dev/meet/<key>
The key is unguessable. Organisation members joining through it keep their identity; external guests enter a display name and join from the browser, no account required.
In the meeting
Joining (J from the meetings page) drops you onto the same stage as a huddle: mute, camera, and screen-share controls, with a participant grid. Meetings share the calls feature gate with huddles; see Plans and limits.
